• Police brutality is a recent problem that has become a hot-button issue in newsrooms and political meetings across the United States. While it is most controversial in the United States, it is problematic in other countries as well. If you have chosen to write about police brutality for your upcoming research paper, then here are a few helpful tips on forming an outline. If you are looking for additional help, I recommend this site.

    1. Brainstorm.

Most people hear the word outline and they immediately think of the standard Roman numeral outline. Outlines can be as simple as brainstorming on a piece of paper and connecting your thoughts. There’s no correct way to do this. This outline is yours. If you aren’t turning it in for a grade it can be as detailed or as messy as you like. The point is that you form your thoughts on paper before you start typing.

    1. Standard Outline

This is most likely the kind of outline a professor would like to see if they require one from you. Standard outlines can be made in several different ways, but usually they’re made with Roman numerals, capital letters and Arabic numerals. Each Roman numeral stands for a paragraph and each capital letter and Arabic numeral represents further divisions of these topics. Here’s an example of a first body paragraph outline.

    I. Background on Police Brutality

    A. Definition

    1.) Definition from dictionary

2.) Alternative way that police force describes it.

3.) Alternative way that minority communities describe brutality.

    B. Statistics

1.) Rise in accounts of police brutality in recent years.

2.) Statistic accounts of police brutality across the nation.

    Web Outline

The web outline is a way of both brainstorming and planning. You probably made one of these in school when you were younger. In the center of the web, you draw a circle and write “Police brutality. Then you draw lines branching off from the circle with subtopics which would represent paragraph ideas. Then, you would branch off again with smaller details about these topics until you have a good direction.

    Why compose an outline?

If your professor doesn’t require an outline, then you’re probably wondering if writing an outlining is necessary at all. While it isn’t necessary, it will definitely save you work and leave you with a better product. Even the most experienced writers need outlines so that they can visualize how to get from point A to point B. Most published novelists have used outlines before writing their books. J.K. Rowling outlined Harry Potter for years before she even put pen to paper. Whether you liked the book or not, her success proves that the effort was well-worth the time spent. While you may not have a leisurely five years to outline your research paper on police brutality, you should be able to take out ten to twenty minutes.

Choose the right outline to guide you through the writing of your research paper.

  • Writing a research paper can be a challenging ordeal, especially for busy students like you. The good news is, there’s a time-tested series of techniques which have been scoring your peers high marks with their professors for many decades. Although there’s no singular trade secret to great paper-writing, you can reliably count on the following concepts to guide your path to success, so grab a chair, brew some coffee, and relax as we share literary knowledge!

    Study the material thoroughly

One of the more common mistakes with these projects is the belief that skimming source material is a more effective method of controlling one’s time. The idea behind this philosophy is simple – by powering through the books, poems, scientific studies, what-have-you, and then returning to the source periodically, one can get a head start on the action of actually penning the paper. It makes sense, to a point, but the truth of the matter is that most of us learn things much more completely when we take the necessary time to immerse ourselves in what we’re reading.

This has the added effect of requiring fewer return visits to the source material, meaning that in the end you’re probably saving just as much time by thoroughly grasping concepts the first time around as you would have had you merely skimmed!

    If possible, use a highlighter

That said, you’ll still need to consult your material here and there as you write your essay, especially if you’re researching complex series of experiments and such. If permissible, you should mark various key phrases with a highlighter, and if you really want to organize the source, consider multiple colors of highlighter. We all know that one student who has sixteen of these things laying around; he or she is diligent in marking every other line. While you don’t need to be quite so prolific in your highlighting, you should at least have a couple of colors on-hand always!

    Enhance your outlines

Run-of-the=mill outlines are a proverbial dime a dozen, but custom-tailored outlines can be priceless. Spend some time investigating various styles of outline and find the one that connects with you the strongest. There are plenty of suggestions on the construction and application of these handy organizational tools all over the net; you can find here a veritable ton of tips and tricks toward that end.

A truly great outline will do half the work for you before you even begin your paper. It will help you to shuffle your thoughts about functionally, so that you will clearly recognize patterns which can be transformed into full-bodied paragraphs.

    Write what you know

Our last recommendation is that you always prioritize the concepts you most fully understand over the ones which might still seem a bit hazy to you. One of the things that mortifies some students about the act of starting essays is that they recognize that there is still so much to learn about the subjects they’re working on.

But relax! This is perfectly natural. Even the world’s top scientists will often admit there’s a great deal they still don’t understand about the things they’ve poured their professional lives into. The solution is to maximize depth and detail on the concepts you do grasp to cover the weaknesses in other areas. Writers have been doing this since Babylon, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Write what you know and you’ll never need to worry so much over what you don’t know!

  • You’re probably stuck with one of your school assignments – perhaps something related to math or physics? Don’t worry; you’re definitely not the only one. Let’s face it – each student has his or her weak points. Some are better at match than others, while others are brilliant when it comes to biology. However, your teachers probably don’t think this way. If you don’t complete the homework on time, you will (in almost all cases) receive a low grade. Even if you may be able to do the school chores by yourself, you will probably still get a relatively low grade compared to your classmates who are very good at that particular subject. But this can change if you seek help!

    Help? What Kind of Help?

Don’t worry, we are not suggesting cheating – although some of your classmates are probably using various services that do their homework for them. We’re talking about a trustworthy service that you can work with and learn about the subject matter while also completing all your assignments on time, every time. Many of these services offer tutoring, or at least detailed explanations on how they solved those complex algebra problems or how they put together that wonderful essay for your political sciences class.

As long as you are learning something in the process, this is not cheating. It’s not like you’re using someone else’s work without understanding a thing about what’s written in that paper. You’re getting help with something you don’t understand and at something you’re not very good at. Also, you’re on your way to receiving a top grade.

How to Find a Trustworthy Service?

Well, of course, the first thing you should do is search for such services online. You’ll find hundreds of results because the market is saturated. However, know that not all of these services are created equal. Some are better than others – in more than one way.

First, take a look at the reviews left by other students and look for any cons to working with that specific company. If you can’t find any caveats, analyze their offer in more detail. See what they have to offer and at what price. Take a look at their staff and decide if their contractors are suited to complete your assignments.

The last thing you should look at is their customer support. What good is a company that doesn’t reply to your emails on time? They’ll probably be late with the assignment as well. Send them an email or try to get in touch with someone using the instant messaging box – if any – on their website. You can use this email to ask them more about their services; do they offer tutoring services as well, for example?

Are There Any Real Companies Out There?

There certainly are! You just have to find the company that meets all of the above requirements. You may need to do some research and spend a bit of time comparing various services. However, once you find a trustworthy company, you can confidently use its services for all your homework.

  • Overview

In many ways, marketing essays are all research papers. After all, examining trends and making financial forecasts requires the writer to possess a relatively deep understanding of whatever it is they’re discussing. As a student of business, it’s not just important that you study diligently. You need to be able to drive an overarching message home in your writing so that your teachers know you’re confident in demonstrating what you’ve learned before you head out into the wide world of commerce and begin making economic choices with far-ranging impact!

    Know the Stakes

The best way to test your mettle is to try to ensure that every paper you pen concludes as strongly as possible. As you likely already know, the final paragraph in most essays is dedicated to tying everything together and doubling down on your overall statement. The difficult task of final paragraphs is to make the reader feel like everything they read beforehand was leading up to one big sweeping finale.

    Zero In

In business, that sweeping finale probably has something to do with an analysis of the current and ongoing within a given company, industry, or country. Consumer buying behavior can apply to any of the above. How best to hammer home the message with something so analytical? You’ll want to restate things found in your introductory paragraph; now, with the benefit of example-based context, your reader should have a thorough understanding of the subject and you will use the body paragraphs as evidence to support your claims. (If you need help flavoring the rest of the paper, this website can guide you in the right direction.)

Suppose your paper pertains to permutations in spending habits of a certain outlet mall’s top five retail chains over the course of a thirty-six-month phase. Perhaps your research indicates that national economic conditions during the second holiday season drastically reduced profit in four of those five locations, but the fifth outperformed its previous year by an appreciable margin. Maybe you’re taking this data and writing an essay on why that fifth competitor did so well and what can be learned from it. Or maybe you’re more broadly focused, looking to the five companies’ profits in the third year and illustrating that national economic conditions had improved enough to deliver strong results for everyone.

Either way, your conclusion should focus on ensuring the reader understands what you were getting at. There should be little room for argument of representative data in a proper business paper, so be thorough!

    Finish Well

More than anything, your objective with any conclusion is to leave your audience feeling satisfied. Don’t let lingering questions remain unanswered (unless it’s intentional). Don’t let certain aspects of your message require too much supplemental reading – dig deeply into your research to compile a truly exhaustive piece. If there’s a firm word limit and you’re at risk of topping it, consider condensing sentences and developing better flow in your body paragraphs. Devote however much time is necessary to your conclusion in order to end things strongly.
